"Rubymoon is quickly becoming one of my new favorite tattoo artists. For only tattooing 4 years she's come a long way. She pays a lot of attention to the tattoos composition. Clean solid line work, smooth shading, and well placed solid color. To me those are the 3 main things to look for in tattoo artists work, and time after time she posts them just as consistent as the one before it. Her work isn't sloppy and rushed looking; it's not cluttered and messy. She takes every part of the tattoo and spends the same amount of care on every section, not just the main parts or the fun parts. For example, if she did a rose, the leaf on the rose would get the attention like it was its own little tattoo, not a section that's not equally as important in the design. There's no crappy tattooing done to fill space around the main subject. You can tell in her work that she knows that when she's too old to tattoo, her portfolio will prove what kind of an Artist she made of herself, not just the fact that she was a tattooer and it was fun and cool. When you meet her you know she's not trying to come across as someone she looks up to or wants to be 'just like.' She's just being herself and that's why her work has the quality it has, she's working her ass off to make a name for herself and I can't do anything but respect her because of that."
